Registration

1Who can register on the app?
a. New Members – You will need an email address and upload your residence card and my number for identification.
b. Existing Members – Please use your registered email address on SMTJ. If none, please call 03-6869-8555 to update your record.
2I encountered “Email ID already exists” error.
Possible scenarios:
a. You try to register as New Member on mobile app but you could already be an existing SPEED member.
b. You might have accidentally backed out while on the registration process. Please wait for 15-30minutes then register again.
c. Another member of SPEED is using the same email address (in case of a family member).
3Can I register without Japan mobile number?
Yes, just input 9999999999.
4I skipped or forgot to upload my I.D. but I already click the REGISTER button, the app is not allowing me to upload anymore, how can I send my I.D.?
Our KYC team will contact you on your registered mobile number or email address. You can also contact us at 03-6869-8555 on how to send your I.D.
5Can I change/update my personal information after registration?
Only mobile number can be changed after registration has been verified by Compliance section. For all other updates of personal information please contact us.
6How will I know if my mobile app registration is successful or not?
You will receive an email that your registration is confirmed.
7How long does it take for my registration to be approved?
It takes about 1-5 business days to be approved. But if you need to send money immediately, please contact us after your registration.
8Can I create more than one account on mobile app?
No. Only one (1) account is allowed. All registration is subject to review and approval of our Compliance Section.

Remittance Transaction

1How do I send the money for my remittance?

2How can I get the Reference Number for cash pick up??
On your mobile app, go to TRANSACTION menu, where all your transactions are displayed. The top most is your recent transaction. Click "View More" to show the status, Reference Number and other pertinent details of your remittance once approved. You will also receive an e-mail statement.
3Can I still change the beneficiary after I proceed with my instruction?
If no deposit has been made and your instruction is in “Awaiting Payment” status, you may cancel the instruction on the TRANSACTION menu and create a new correct transaction.
4What is the maximum amount of remittance? Is there a limit on the remittance amount?
You can send up to maximum of Jpy1,000,000 per remittance, subject for review of the Compliance Section. We may require documents as needed.
5How much is the limit for Cash Pick Up transaction?
Philippines Pick Up ML/Palawan/LBC - up to Php150,000
Philippines Pick Up Cebuana - up to Php50,000 only
Philippines Bank Pick Up - up to JPY1,000,000

6How much is the limit for Credit to Account transaction?
JPY1,000,000 as long as your beneficiary's account has no monthly credit limit (e.g G-Cash Philippines).
7What will happen if I didn’t deposit the required amount on SPEED Yucho account?
Timeline of Mobile App transactions:
Creation Date: 11:00 AM- 11:59PM Expiration/Cancellation Date: 11:00 AM of next business day

Creation Date: 12:00 AM- 10:59AM Expiration/Cancellation Date: 5:00PM same day
8I cannot see my previous transaction to a specific beneficiary.
For mobile app, we will only display your transaction history for the previous and current year. Contact us. to request a complete list of transactions.

Beneficiary

1How many beneficiaries can I add on mobile app?
20 beneficiaries. If you need to add more, contact us for more details.
2Can I edit the details of my beneficiary thru mobile app?
No. For any correction on your beneficiary details, please contact us.
3Can I delete my beneficiary thru mobile app?
No. But you may send a beneficiary deletion request through SMS, Viber, E-mail or Messenger using below format

4I already have an existing beneficiary for Cash Pick Up, can I use the same beneficiary to send Account Deposit transactions?
No. You must create another entry of the same beneficiary but different transaction service (i.e. G-Cash or Bank Account Deposit)
5Can I send money to a Company/Corporate/Institution account?
Yes. Please input in First Name and Last Name. For middle name, please indicate period (.)
e.g First Name: SPEED MONEY
Last Name: TRANSFER JAPAN K.K.
6My beneficiary is a joint account, how should I encode the account name?
Please put the name as follows:
FIRST NAME – 1st account holder's full name
MIDDLE NAME – “OR” "AND" "AND/OR"
LAST NAME – 2nd account holder's full name
7Can I still change the beneficiary after I proceed with my instruction?
If no deposit has been made and your instruction is in “Awaiting Payment” status, you may cancel the instruction and create another one.
